Zinkwazi Beach is a small KZN coastal village — the kind of place most map apps skip over and most travelers never discover. Individual Airbnb hosts and family-run businesses were marketing in isolation, competing against bigger, better-known destinations up the coast, and losing bookings simply because the village had no shared front door. We built a curated local platform for Zinkwazi Beach Stays on the Local Eyes network: a custom domain, a unified directory of stays, experiences, and local businesses, an AI concierge that answers “what’s Zinkwazi actually like?”, and an owner-onboarding flow that gets each host and operator visible in minutes. The result is one destination “front door” instead of dozens of orphan pages. Hosts get context around their rentals; local operators get discovered alongside them; and the village markets itself as a place, not a list of properties. It’s a model we’re rolling out to other small coastal and rural towns.
